Jon Easter

Vice President

Jon responsibilities include identifying, developing and securing viable construction opportunities for the company. With over 35 years of representing clients throughout the United States, Jon has positioned himself as an excellent trouble shooter. Combined with his background in engineering, sales, and project management, Jon is able to provide the company and clients he works with valuable answers and solutions  to complex problems.

Jeff Morgan

Operations Manager/Project Manager

Jeff Morgan has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, working on residential, commercial, and restaurant projects. These projects include large custom homes, retail shopping centers, tilt-up buildings, 3-story apartments, large shopping malls, schools and many different T.I. construction projects. Jeff has also held his General Contractor license in California since 1994. Jeff has worked on many LEED certified buildings and understands Green Building practices, as well as being directly involved on projects with City, State, OSHPD, and health departments to get plans submitted and approved.

Kim Hartshorn

Project Engineer

Kim has over 30 years of experience working in the construction industry.  She has a strong background in construction accounting, and office management experience which offers an integral part in her role as Office Manager.  Kim has extensive experience in working with the Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, as well as local municipals, so details are a must. Kim specializes in commercial and retail projects.

Christi Heer

Project Accountant

Christi has over 20 years of Construction Accounting experience & manages all accounting functions and operations. In addition to being responsible for California project costs and accumulation, she also maintains and reports any variances from the budget.

Charles H. Culp

President

Charles Culp has more than 50 years of experience in the construction industry.  The Culp Construction project portfolio during his tenure totals more than $1,000,000,000.  Charles has redirected the company’s early, residential focus towards a broader palate of work including restoration, educational, religious, commercial, office, manufacturing, institutional, retail, and industrial work.  Because of the multifaceted project base at Culp Construction, Charles has had great success working with a wide variety of people including business owners, architects, engineers, lenders, insurance companies, public officials, and subcontractors.  Charles has led Culp Construction with the goal of excellence in everything to achieve successful results time and again.

Michael Vance

Vice President of Operations

Mike has been involved in project management for the past 30 years. He spent the first 10 years of his career working on large hotel projects in Hawaii, and has spent the last 20 years as a Project Manager and VP of Operations for Culp. A majority of Mike’s experience is coordinating, monitoring, and managing all phases of the construction process. Mike prides himself on the ability to solve problems and troubleshoot issues in the field. Mike participates in the estimating process to insure continuity from estimating through construction. Mike has spent a lot of time managing our religious projects, including the past project at St. Ambrose Church Interior Renovations. Mike’s current responsibilities include overseeing all of Culp’s Utah operations and managing several projects in Utah.

Richard Dunn

Secretary/Treasurer – Chief Estimator

Rick’s lengthy experience in the field, as well as in the office, has proven to be a valued asset to Owners. Rick is always aiming for value when teaming with the architect and engineer to establish a project budget. Value engineering is one of Rick’s chief goals as estimator on each project. Rick is also a certified LEED Accredited Professional.

Debra Platis

Controller

Debra Platis’ responsibilities include involvement in every financial phase of a project, from cost accumulation and reporting to preparation of financial statements. Debra has over 25 years in construction accounting experience and 10 years in public accounting as a staff accountant for two local CPA firms where she served several clients in the construction and manufacturing industries.
