  • Lot #75, The Colony

    Location: Park City, Utah

    This 30,000 S.F. residence includes a 15 car underground garage, 20 person custom spa, 2 master suites, 2 caretaker suites, steam room, sauna, theater room, 3,500 bottle wine cellar, and custom stone fireplaces.  All of the 20 bathrooms and powder rooms, in addition to the kitchen and the balance of finishes were custom designed by Paula Berg & Assoc.  The exterior of the building is half log siding over a stone wainscott, with waterfeatures incorporated into the landscape.

    This 12,000 S.F. private residence is sited on a Utah mountainside in the Park City area.  The house is comprised of two linear volumes that intersect in the public living spaces of the house.  The north-south element comprises the entry, kitchen, guest wing, garage, natatorium, pool and wine cellar.  A series of cast in place concrete site walls extend to the interior, organizing the spaces at ground level.  The steel structure that defines this space connects to the timber structure of the east-west mass in the living and dining areas.  Large expanses of glass in the living spaces provide views to the Wasatch valley as well as a visual connection to the private courtyard created between mountain and home.  A stone-clad chimney mass is a central element in the living area and contains a stair that connects the three levels of the house.  The master bedroom wing and the client’s study are located between the mountain and the fireplace.  The house seeks to create a year-round haven for the clients.

    Broadway Loft is an adaptive renovation of an existing retail/warehouse building originally built about 1930.  The remodel included seismic upgrades, addition of life-safety and interior conversion to retail, restaurant, office and, on the upper levels, condominiums.

    Lot 68 at Deer Crest is a 6,800 S.F. spec home with spectacular panoramic views of the Jordanelle reservoir.  The wood framed house features a walk-out basement, ski-in ski-out access to Deer Valley Resort, two master suites, and 3 additional bedrooms.  The open beam roof structure emphasizes the douglas fir ceilings which tie into alder wall panels.  Radiant heat warms the Hickory wood, slate and marble floors.  The home incorporates an R-41 panelized roof system with synthetic slate roof shingles over an exterior skin of cedar siding and stone veneer with a metal clad window system.

    This 7500 square foot multi level home sits on a steep hillside across the canyon from Snowbird ski resort.  The architectural concrete and steel structure incorporates large glass areas  for a panoramic view across the Cottonwood Creek and all of Snowbird.  The interior features an open design, with a spiral concrete and steel stairway leading down to the three levels. The interior finishes include contemporary pearwood cabinets, polished concrete floors, and various types of rare stone.
